Linen shirt made from pre-dyed linen material with a sumi (ink) coating. The coating gradually fades with repeated wear, revealing a subtle houndstooth pattern within the deep "sumi black" color.

The sewing specifications mostly employ the traditional "French seam" method, such as on the sides and armholes.
The reason for using the time-consuming French seam is to bring out the natural texture of the fabric without stitching on the surface.
Also, while eliminating the outer stitches, the seam allowances are not exposed, resulting in a robust construction.
The collar has a slightly more relaxed collar circumference and a lower collar stand than a typical shirt.
The interlining is also thin and soft, and the collar has a relaxed, crumpled look that conforms to the natural movement of the body, even when worn unwashed.

The body width has a relaxed silhouette, and the armholes are also slightly loose.
It is designed to be worn loosely, without putting tension on the fabric, rather than a just-right fit.
