Yasuharu Matsue (born in Tokyo in 1963) has captured the surface of the earth in various locations around the world from his unique perspective. The rules the artist sets when taking photographs, such as not including the horizon or sky in the frame and shooting in direct light to avoid shadows on the subject, create a flatness that questions the essence of photography. This exhibition introduces two series, and , from the artist's past works, including new works that are being shown for the first time.
