Nexmetal Pure Titanium Wire, 1.0 mm (18 ga), 10 Feet, Silver

Pure Titanium wire. Also known as Grade 1, surgical grade. Element 22 is light, strong, and corrosion resistant. Titanium is incredibly light; 1 kg of 0.5mm wire is almost a mile in length. It is suited for medical, aerospace, aviation, and marine environments. Titanium wire does not stretch, so if you pull it very hard, at a certain point it will break without elongating. This may be a desired property for some applications, and certainly superior in strength to aluminum wire if used for a mechanical or structural reinforcement application.

• 1 mm diameter wire is incredibly strong and lightweight. 1mm wire is rather stiff, like a paper clip, and holds the bent shape.
